www.westshorefcsoftball.com
- The home team will be responsible for paying the umpire $27.00 before the start of the game. (cash only)
- Game time is forfeit time. Example: if the game time is 10:00 am, the forfeit time is 10:00 am. Forfeit time for the 2nd game is 15 minutes after the first game.
- To avoid forfeits the two teams that are scheduled to play can share players. This is an OPTION. If the opposing team does not want to give up any players then you may pick up any player from the stands as long as they are a member of a team in our league. You may only pick up one player to give you a total of nine. If your own player comes late then he/she must take the spot in the lineup of the picked player. These games will be official games and will count toward the standings in the league.
- Games may be started with nine (9) players, you may add a tenth (10) player only if he or she is from your team roster at the beginning of a ½ inning up to the 5th inning. You may not add the 11th or 12th player at any time.
- If any team forfeits a scheduled game, that team must pay the umpire for both games (54.00). If you don’t pay on the field then your team must pay the league the $54.00 before your next scheduled game. If fee is not paid your team will be dismissed from the league.
- Any team canceling games for tournaments or any other reasons must be done one (1) week in advanced to the opposing coach and the league president. A new date and time must be established by the league Director.
- The home team of each game will supply one new ball and one old ball.
- A team will be allowed to use two (2) designated hitters. If you use Twelve (12) batters and have no remaining players available in case of an injury or ejection, you may continue with eleven (11) batters. However, the injured or ejected players batting position will constitute an automatic out. If you start with ten (10) players, you may not add the eleventh (11) player. If you start with eleven (11) players you may not add the twelfth player.
- You may use a courtesy runner one time per inning. The runner may be anyone in the line up or on the bench. If the player is in the line up and his/her turn to bat comes up, and they are on base an out will be declared.
- This league will be using the one (1) up rule for homeruns. Any homerun that is not within the one up rule will be counted as a single. This will be in effect for all fenced fields used. Any ball that is tipped over the fence will be a four base award not a homerun, which is the ASA rule.
- Any team ahead by twenty(20) or more runs after three(3) innings or fifteen (15) runs after four or ten (10) or more runs after five (5) innings will be declared the winner; however, the home team must bat if they are losing.
- No metal spikes are allowed! The penalty is to remove the metal spikes from the game. Penalties for not removing metal spikes will be an umpire’s ejection and rule14 will come into effect.
- If any player has physical contact with an umpire, that player will be suspended from ASA and league play for two (2) years.
- If you get ejected from a game, you must sit out that game plus the next scheduled game. There will also be a $25.00 fine that will need to be paid by your team before their next scheduled games.
- If a player gets thrown out of another game, they must sit out that game plus the next three (3) games and your team must pay a $35.00 fine, which must be paid before the next scheduled games.
